Located in one of  the most exciting cities in the world, La Mamounia Hotel in Marrakech is an oasis - a green lush environment where you can relax, sit by the pool or take a stroll in the beautiful gardens.Built in 1923 and set just inside the city walls, it is most certainly one of Morocco’s best looking hotels.  With a combination of Moroccan architecture and Hollywood glitz, the Hotel was used as a film set for the film ‘Morroco’.

Guests at La Mamounia include the Rolling Stones, Sharron Stone and not to forget Winston Churchill who was a regular visitor and painted here. The Hotel offers 171 de- luxe rooms, 57 suites and 3 three-bedroom private villas tucked away in the grounds for those requiring ultimate privacy.

La Mamounia closed for major refurbishment in July 2006 but is due to reopen its doors in 2007.
